Explosion heard as huge fire rages in Long Sutton High Street

Almost 40 firefighters from crews around the area tackled a blaze in Long Sutton last night (Tuesday).

A Long Sutton resident said she “heard a really loud explosion” at around midnight.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescuse said 39 firefighters extinguished a burning garage, three cars and “adjoining living area”.

Fire crews from Long Sutton, Holbeach, Spalding, Wisbech, Terrington & West Walton and Market Rasen attended.
