Exploring the world of work

Careers came under the spotlight during a two-day event at Spalding’s Tulip Academy.

A variety of businesses were on hand to chat to students at both the Springview and Waterside campuses about the world of work at the school which caters for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
“I would like to thank the businesses who took part and spent time with our pupils to teach them about their possible next steps into employment,” said headteacher Matt Bloodworth-Flatt.
Among those taking part were Worldwide Fruit, Pets at Home, Lincolnshire County Council, Morrison’s Butchers and Progreen.
