Explore old documents

The Bourne branch of the Lincolnshire Family History Society has been donated a collection of some 200 historical documents salvaged from an old solicitor’s office.

The documents consist of historical deeds, indentures and other manuscript documents covering various parts of Lincolnshire.

There is a documents exploration day on Saturday between 10am and 3.30pm vat Bourne United Reformed Church to offer the public the chance to see some of the documents.

Everyone is welcome to drop in and there will be the opportunity to handle some of these documents which are of the type that would normally only be found in County Archive Offices.
