Mixed Emotions, a mixed media exhibition including painting, collage and photography by Ed Baxter is this month’s exhibition at the Geest Gallery, Spalding.

Leaving Spalding in 1966, Ed attended art school initially to study graphic design and visual communication before moving on to study photography.

He worked in London for many years as a creative advertising photographer before moving to Scotland 12 years ago.

The work on show is from different times and events in his life’s journey.

Ed is an experienced photographer in large, medium and small format film photography, specialising in advertising still-life, food and drink, product and people shoots in his studio or on location.

Digital imagery for pack-shots, people, models and catalogue photographs using the most up to date digital technology.

Since moving to Scotland, Ed has been experimenting in fine art photography, shooting landscapes, property, rural and sporting scenes in addition to his advertising and design work.

His work is on show in the gallery at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum until the end of May.
