Exhibition at library

Spalding Arts and Crafts Society has a new exhibition launching on Friday, September 8.

Some of the group’s work will be on show at Spalding Library until October 2 and all work is for sale.
The club’s most recent demonstration came from Amanda Jackson (pictured) who painted in acrylics on the theme ‘Beach Light and Reflections’.
A spokesman said: “It was another excellent and informative demonstration by Amanda.
“She has visited us several times now and is always popular.”
The next painting demonstration is a Welsh landscape in water soluble oils by Pauline Hazelwood.
It takes place on Tuesday, September 5 at Pinchbeck Village Hall, Knight Street, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
The cost for members is £3 and for visitors £5.
Doors open at 7pm.
The club also holds a Paint, Craft and Chat session at Pinchbeck Village Hall, 10am to noon, on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. The cost is £4 for members and £5 for visitors.
