Ex-England ace Taylor returning for summer camp at Spalding Hockey Club

Former England ace Matt Taylor is once again bringing his expert summer hockey camp back to Spalding Hockey Club.

The club are delighted that Taylor, who is the current Director of Hockey at Nottingham University, will be bringing his coaching team of international players to Glen Park again.

This is the seventh year that Taylor has held the two-day camp at Surfleet and they all have been extremely successful and hugely beneficial to young hockey players from Spalding and other local clubs.

Joining the ex-England star are coaches Jamie Cachia (Scotland keeper), Alice Huddlestone (England under-21), Josh Pavis (England and Great Britain under-23), Ollie Rogerson (Eng under-21) and John Witfield (National League).

The course, which runs on August 23 and 24, is for boys and girls aged from nine to 17 years and will run from 9.30am to 5pm each day.

Cost is £60 for the two full days and there are still a few places remaining.

Anyone interested in attending is asked to contact Fred Morris email [email protected] to reserve a place and request a registration form.
