Spalding’s independent homeware shop Charmed Interiors is celebrating a year in the town.
Situated in the Sheepmarket, Charmed Interiors opened its doors last September and has been welcomed with open arms by customers, both local and from further afield.
Manager Darren Sutton, whose brother and sister-in-law Jason and Sam own the store, puts the success down to the outstanding customer service offered.
He said: “Things have gone really well in our first year.
“Jason and Sam already had a shop in Downham Market and wanted to expand.
“They looked around and decided Spalding was the ideal place and we’re really happy with the way the store has been received.”
Darren knows the retail trade inside out after managing the town’s Peacocks store for ten years.
He added: “We pride ourselves on great customer service and we try our best to order in items for people if we don’t stock them.
“Being an independent store gives us greater flexibility for ordering in special items.
“Also if we get a lot of people asking for a certain item, for example deep fitted sheets, we’ll try to stock it if we can.”
Ranges stocked include Christy towels, Kylie Minogue bedding, a selection of Emma Bridgewater goods and Kirstie Allsopp bedding.
Charmed also have a range of Price’s candles and diffusers, along with gifts, soaps and greetings cards.
They also stock hard-to-find items such as 4ft sheets and mattress protectors, along with a wide range of super king size bedding.
Other ranges on offer include I Live, Janet Reger, American Freshman and 100 per cent wool Tweed Mill throws.
Curtains can be bought ready-made or made to order and there is a range of nets to order or voiles which are ready to buy.
They also sell children’s quilt covers and Mickey Mouse fleece blankets.
Charmed is currently holding a blue cross sale to make way for new winter, Halloween and Christmas ranges, so it’s a great time to grab a bargain.
With bedding starting at just £6 for a single duvet cover, £8 for doubles, £11 for a king size and £12.50 for super king, why not pop in and have a look?
