Events help lift ambulance

Two events in Whaplode Drove have helped give the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance a lift.

The Elizabethan Centre recently hosted an afternoon of music organised by Jack Fennelow and a quiz night courtesy of Matthew Wright.

Both proved to be huge successes with a combined total of £1,722 raised for the charity.

A representative from the air ambulance that serves the area popped into the club to meet both and collect the cheque.

Mr Fennelow said: “We’d like to thank everyone who attended, took part and helped in any way to make both events very successful for this very good cause.”
