Enjoy a family day at Crowland Show

Crowland Show promises to be a fun-filled day of entertainment and animals for all the family.

As well as all the horse and dog show classes, there will also be a craft fair, stalls and handmade foodstuffs, the WI marquee, as well as rides, games and activities.
MP John Hayes is due to officially open the event on Saturday, June 25, and will be later presenting the Heavy Horse Awards.
The show opens for general admission from 8.30am and horse classes will continue throughout the day – providing a spectacular display of horses of all sizes, from miniature prizes to heavy horses.
The culmination of the events will be the Supreme of Show competition, with a prize of £100 up for grabs,
Dog classes include all the usual serious categories such as best pedigree and best junior handler, as well as more “fun” classes such as the best biscuit catcher and dog most like its owner.
The undercover craft fair and shopping area will be selling a range of goods, including cheese, jewellery, fashions and homeware – keep a special eye out for last year’s big hit, the chocolate fudge!
The WI marquee is the place to be to see a range of skills on show in categories ranging from craftwork to cookery, flower arranging to art. There’s even a section for children.
Admission to the event is £5 for adults, £3 for children under 16 and £10 for a family ticket for two adults and two children aged under 12.
Concessions for the over 60s are £4.
Each admission will receive a programme with a lucky number, sponsored by City & County Estate Agents. A prize draw will take place at 3.30pm and the winning number will receive £50 in Marks and Spencer vouchers.
