England and Nottingham Forest legend Pearce is Tulips’ star guest

Former England and Nottingham Forest legend Stuart Pearce is the special guest at Spalding United’s annual Sports Celebrity Dinner.

Pearce, who was capped 78 times by England and also played for Newcastle United, West Ham United and Manchester City, is the after dinner guest speaker.

More recently, he has managed Forest and England under-21s, but Pearce is probably best remembered by the masses for his passionate performances for the Three Lions.

This year’s event is set to take place on Thursday, September 10 (6.45pm meet for 7.15pm start) at the South Holland Centre in Spalding.

Bookings for tables of ten guests are already taking place and availability is likely to be scarce due to the huge success of last year’s event, which featured Neil “Razor” Ruddock.

A three-course dinner and auction of sports memorabilia will also take place during the evening.

Dress code is lounge suit or casual-smart, with strictly no jeans allowed.

For further information, details of price categories and/or to reserve your place, all interested parties should contact Malcolm Gray via email at [email protected] or call him on 07703 581672.
