End of successful year

Outgoing Tydd St Giles Golf Club ladies’ captain Maria Taylor-Vassal marked the end of her successful tenure with a generous charitable donation.

At a recent presentation Taylor-Vassal handed over a cheque for £2,400 to Paul Jackson, representing Dementia UK.

The funds were raised over the course of her captaincy year though a variety of events and the continued support of club members.

Taylor-Vassal thanked everyone who contributed, highlighting the kindness and community spirit shown throughout the year.

The presentation was a fitting conclusion to Taylor-Vassal’s captaincy celebrating not only her leadership but also the club’s commitment to supporting worthwhile causes.
