Promising Kirton racer Aaron Clarke completed a successful test day at Donington Park last week.
The teenager was putting his Kawasaki machine through its paces in preparation for the opening round of the National Superstock 600 championship, which gets underway at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend.
Although the 18-year-old ended the day in an overall position of 44th, Clarke was in a mixed grid of riders in a number of different classes – and he was actually 14th in the Superstock 600 class.
Clarke, who was pleased with his performance, said: “This is a massive step up for me this year as the Superstock 600 championship is very competitive. But I was doing OK out there today.
“The bike is really fast and smooth and we will continue our testing this week at Snetterton.”
The opening round of the National Superstock 600 championship is at Brands Hatch over the Easter weekend (April 18-21.)
