Ena celebrates her century

The family of a Pinchbeck centenarian have given money to charity to celebrate her 100th birthday.

Ena Maddison celebrated her big day on Tuesday, July 16 with a special party of family and friends at The Fraiser Room, Surfleet.

Rather than receiving presents, Ena asked for everyone to donate to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance. In total £250 was donated.

Son Brian Maddison, said: “Earlier in the day she was very excited to receive her card from the Queen. She had 75 birthday cards and a lovely time was enjoyed by all especially by Ena herself.”
