Ellis is a world champ at the age of just eight

Cowbit has a new world champion thanks to an impressive display from eight-year-old Jaxon Ellis.

The young kickboxer, who attends Moulton Chapel Primary School has been training in martial arts since he was three, with Inspired Martial Arts in Peterborough.
He is making rapid progress towards earning a black belt and has been competing in local and national competitions over the last two years, with some amazing and outstanding achievements.
His latest came at the World Kickboxing Organisation Awards Ceremony in Barnsley and saw him ranked World No.1 Grand Prix Grand Champion for his age and weight division.
He also won special awards for the best kick and favourite fighter out of the 2,500 competitors.
It tops an incredible year that has seen him win 30 gold medals, three silvers and a bronze, as well as £160 in prize fight money.
Jaxon is also the WKO European Champion, WKO World Champion, WKO Arnold Sports Champion, WKO British Open Champion and WKO English Open Champion in points fighter for his age and weight (7-8 years under-35kg).
His mum Jemma said: “Jaxon has his own Tiktok channel – @jaxon.storm2 – and we are always looking for sponsors. As you can imagine, training, competitions and equipment are quite pricey.
“We hope Jaxon continues to have an amazing 2025, where he will continue to compete in competitions across England.”
