Eight fire crews battle blaze at Sutton Bridge property

A property near Sutton Bridge has been largely destroyed following a fire overnight.

At around 11pm last night (Friday, March 24) fire crews were alerted to Guys Head Road, a rural road with a handful of properties on just north of the town.

Nobody has been injured in the blaze which Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say has damaged 70 per cent of the property and its contents.

The cause of the fire is currently still under investigation.

Eight crews attended including one from Norfolk. It was extinguished using two main jets, three hose reel jets and breathing apparatus with the aerial ladder platform used as a water tower.
