Two people from the Spalding area are among eight arrested following the shooting of a man on Friday night.
A 20-year-old man, from the Spalding area is one of those arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was found with a gunshot wound by a motorist in Boston on Friday (February 28).
A 40-year-old man, also from from the area has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and conspiracy to commit GBH
Lincolnshire Police say they believe the man was shot while in the Spalding area and have today (Monday) confirmed he’d suffered a gunshot wound.

A 50 year-old man from the Boston area has been arrested on suspicion of:
- Attempt murder
- Commit an act/series of acts with intent to prevent the course of justice
- Conspiracy to cause GBH
- Threats to kill
A 23-year-old man from the Boston area has been arrested on suspicion of:
- Conspiracy to cause GBH
A 25-year-old from the Huntingdon area has been arrested on suspicion of:
- Attempt murder
A 20-year-old from the Spalding area has been arrested on suspicion of:
- Attempt murder
- Possession of class B drug
A 22-year-old from the Boston area has been arrested on Suspicion of:
- Assisting an offender
A 40-year-old woman from the Spalding area has been arrested on suspicion of:
- Assisting an offender
- Conspiracy to commit GBH
A 26-year-old man from the Peterborough area has been arrested on suspicion of:
- Wounding with intent
A 30-year-old man from the Peterborough area has been arrested on suspicion of:
- Conspiracy to commit GB
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “Our investigations are ongoing so if anyone can assist us they can call us on 101, quoting incident 436 of February 28.”
