A ten-year-old from Spalding has helped put a few smiles on young faces after donating Easter eggs.
Sofia Newton was inspired by the Secret Santa competition put on by regulars at the Drayman’s Arms pubs.
She wanted to do something for those less fortunate at Easter time and so collected eggs and toys.
The charity Ella’s Project, which has a similar collection at Christmas, popped over recently to pick them up and hand them to Lincolnshire County Council’s Children’s Services.
Mark Le Sage, who runs the charity, named after his daughter, said: “We were able to put a smile on the very helpful Sofia’s face with the eggs and toys now in the safe hands of Emma Cook at our local children’s services.”
