Easter bunny fun in the sun

Children flocked to Fleet for an Easter egg hunt on Saturday.

The event put on by the group Fleet Responders saw 42 children and their parents go along.
The group was set up by Eddie McNally, Leslie Hilliam and Eileen Gilliatt.
A spokesman for the club said: “Not only was it a fabulous event but four new junior responders are about to be recruited after they felt they wanted to be a part of this community initiative.
“The Easter Hunt ended with Peter Rabbit arriving to say hello to the children and to top it all the sun shone!”
The group have organised a fun day 1pm to 4pm at Fleet Playing Field on May 8. It will include electric mini motors on a track with inflatable sides and arch, sports games and including a penalty shoot against Norwich City under 14 goalie George Bucknor.
