Duo set for village hall

Sunday country and western afternoons return to Gedney Dyke this weekend.

Tom Collins and Johnny Flinton are heading to the village hall this Sunday for musical entertainment.

Collins hails from Scotland and has been in showbusiness for over 30 years.

He released his first country and western album aged 16 and has been playing across the country including a stint as resident at the Lyndene Hotel in Blackpool.

Over the years he’s worked with Cannon and Ball, Jimmy Cricket, Bonnie Tyler and PJ Proby.

Flinton hails from Norwich and while he plays a host of genres he describes country as his “home”.

He released his first album in the first COVID-19 lockdown and now has three albums including one with Collins and Darren Knight as The Smee Brothers.

Doors open at 1.30pm for a 2.30pm start.

Tickets are £10 and include a buffet.
