Two Spalding Academy students have won a national prize for urban dancing.
Alfie Edwards and Danielle Dixey picked up first place in the Be You competition’s Hip Hop and Street category.
The pair, who are also part of the Crowland Cheer and Dance group, did their own choreography and performance for the event held online.
It was the first time they’d entered the competition.
Alfie’s mum Alison Edwards said: “We are extremely proud of them both.
“They are great friends as well as dance partners spending hours together practicing and coming up with new routines.
“We hope there will be many more competitions for them as a duo and part of their group at Crowland Cheer and Dance.”
