A Holbeach woman drove drunk after a domestic argument, a court has heard.
Magistrates in Boston heard that, Rita Feher, 27, of Washway Road, had left the address following a row with her partner at 11pm on June 24 and had crashed into a lamppost and then into a hedge.
Prosecuting, Lottie Tyler said she was found in the driver’s seat, smelt of alcohol and was unsteady, so she was arrested and gave an alcohol reading of 48 microgrammes in her breath, the legal limit being 35.
It was also said she only had a provisional driving licence and had been unaccompanied.
In mitigation, Anita Toal said Feher, who admitted both offences, had been very upset following the argument with her partner and had then left and got into her car.
She was fined £300 and ordered to pay a total of £205 in court costs and charges.
She was also banned from driving for a year but was offered the drink drivers’ rehabilitation course which will reduce the period of the ban by 13 weeks.
