Drug drive arrest after stolen car is driven into Spalding home

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving in a stolen car that was driven in to the front of a family home in Spalding in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

The home on Magellan Way, opposite the junction with St Thomas’s Road, was hit by the car at around 5.20am.

The Voice understands the family whose home it was have a young baby and were inside at the time of the incident but were unharmed.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of drug driving, possession of drugs and taking a vehicle without consent. He remains in custody and is awaiting questioning.”
