Drop in to local churches

St Bartholomew’s Church in West Pinchbeck and Whaplode St Mary’s Church are among those hosting events involving the blooming snowdrops starting this weekend.

The former hosts its annual Snowdrop Weekend this Saturday and Sunday (February 8 and 9) with the church open from 1pm to 4pm for light refreshments, tea, coffee and cake.
A spokesman said: “Everyone is welcome to wander around the churchyard to see the glorious display of snowdrops.”
Whaplode St Mary’s will be open for the next three weekends from 10am to 3pm for refreshments..
“Come to wander and experience the amazing display of snowdrops and aconites in their natural setting in a secluded area of the churchyard,” a spokesman said.
