Driver flees scene after car demolishes two garden walls

Police are hunting a driver who fled after smashing into a streetlight and two garden walls in Spalding.

Carol Hudson (69, pictured), of Hawthorn Bank, woke to find her wall destroyed. Her son’s car on the drive suffered minor damage and her neighbours’ wall was also partially demolished.

She said: “You work hard and save hard and it’s devastating to find someone can come along and do that.”

A silver Peugeot 306 was recovered by police. The incident happened around 1.30am on Monday last week. Anyone with information should call police on 101 quoting incident 23 of June 5.
