Driver dies in Spalding crash

A driver has died after his car left the road and hit a tree on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to Holbeach Road in Spalding, near the A151/A16 junction, shortly after 3am.

The driver of a silver Rover, a 31 year-old foreign national who was living in Spalding, was  pronounced dead at the scene. His immediate family have been informed and other relatives in Poland are being notified.

There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
