Drinks company’s plan for further 50 new homes in Crowland

The site of Adcocks Drinks Company in Crowland could make way for up to 50 new homes.

The business has applied to South Holland District Council for outline planning permission in Crease Drove.
Early indications are that the mix of housing might be 12 two-bedroom, 26 three-bedroom and nine four or five-bedroom.

The agent says: “This equates to approximately 33 dwelling per hectare gross and is of a similar density to development recently approved at the Peterborough Road site which is also similarly related to the settlement and is less than 200m to the south.”

A number of developers are said to be interested in the site. The first homes could be ready by the end of 2017.
