Donation toasts ex-landlord

Family members of a former landlord known as ‘Biscuit’ have donated money in his memory to a hospital.

David Crawford died earlier this year and at his funeral his family raised money for the Friends of Johnson Hospital.

It provides equipment for the institution that’s not supplied on the NHS.

Charley Morgan and Lesley Crawford recently presented a cheque for £70.63 to the Friends at the hospital.

Secretary Christine Grocock said: “We are deeply grateful to the Crawford family for choosing our charity.

“Their generous donation will go directly towards supporting our ongoing work providing much-needed resources and comfort to patients at the hospital.

“On behalf of all our members, we extend our sincere thanks to Lesley, Charley, and everyone who contributed. Your kindness will make a difference.”
