Donation helps Ukraine crisis

Bellway has helped a church in Pinchbeck raise money for the Ukraine Crisis Appeal by sponsoring the concert at its annual flower festival.

The homebuilder, which is building at Pinchbeck Fields, donated £400 towards the event at St Mary’s Church.
Stamford Gilbert and Sullivan Players performed to an audience of more than 70 people, with proceeds allowing a donation of £200 to be made to the British Red Cross, providing humanitarian aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
The flower festival raised further funds for the church.
Hilary Marks, from the flower festival team, said: “The flower festival is our biggest church fundraiser each year.
“Bellway helped us ensure the success of our Gilbert and Sullivan concert.
“Their donation allowed us to provide light refreshments and a glass of wine and to have the concert programme. The proceeds from the concert allowed us to make a generous donation to the British Red Cross’s Ukraine Crisis Appeal.”
