Dog walkers urged to help St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice

Dog owners are being urged to get their walking shoes on for a good cause.

Local independent charity St Barnabas Lincolnshire Hospice is hosting a sponsored dog walk, Paws 4 a Cause, to help boost the funds they need to care for people living with a life limiting illness.
The walk will take place on Sunday, June 19, from 1pm and will begin at Springfields Events Centre in Spalding. Dog walkers can choose to walk two or four miles along the Coronation Channel.

Vikki Allen, community events fundraiser, said: “This is a fun event for dog lovers in Spalding and is a great opportunity for like-minded people to come together for an afternoon stroll.
“This is the first time we have brought this event to Spalding and we hope that our community will get behind our efforts to raise vital funds to continue the care and support to patients and their families across Spalding.”

Registration is just £5 per dog. Register online at www.stbarnabashospice.co.uk/pawspa16 or contact Vikki Allen on 07435 753098 or email [email protected]
