Dog fight in Spalding town centre causes ‘commotion’

Several police officers attended Market Place, Spalding, at around 4.30pm on Thursday (June 28) to what had been reported as people fighting but turned out to be a fight between two dogs.

South Holland inspector Gareth Boxall said: “One of the dogs was taken to the vets to get checked out and we are satisfied that no further investigation is required.

“We understand that the incident did cause a commotion and it is understandable that those nearby called us to report the incident.”
