District and parish council elections open for nominations

You can now apply to stand in the forthcoming district and parish council elections.

The votes take place on Thursday, May 2.

A spokesman for SHDC said: “Candidates who wish to submit their nomination for this year’s district and parish elections in South Holland are being encouraged to make an appointment with the Council’s elections team.

“Appointments can be made from 9am to 5pm Friday 22 March to 4pm Wednesday 3 April.

“All candidates should note that all nomination papers must be hand delivered.
