Discount on U16 film tickets at South Holland Centre

The South Holland Centre is to reduce the cost of cinema tickets for those under 16.

Tickets will now cost £5 for that age group for all ‘general release’ films that have a certificate to be watched by those aged 15 and under.
“This change is intended to encourage young people and families with children to visit Spalding’s town centre more often, with every film available at the South Holland Centre being reduced to £5 for an under-16 ticket,” a spokesman for South Holland District Council said.
The reduced prices will be introduced from April 1.

Coun Henry Bingham, Portfolio Holder for Assets and Strategic Planning, said: “I am delighted that we are able to offer this discount to families in the local area.

“It is important to the Council and the South Holland Centre that Spalding Town Centre is an attractive place for residents to visit, and reduced prices for film tickets for under-16’s is a great step in this direction.

“I encourage anyone who can take advantage of the upcoming discounts to do so, for hours of entertainment that supports to local community.”
