Discipline and team of month award please Moulton Harrox management

Moulton Harrox picked up the ChromaSport Peterborough League Premier Division team of the month award for October – and marked the occasion by smashing 11 unanswered goals past Deeping Rangers Reserves.

In their last home fixture of 2015, Moulton really gave home fans something to savour.
Manager Dave Panton said: “They were simply fantastic.”

With Deeping not their usual organised self, Moulton took full advantage.
Ryan Wheeler scored with two super strikes before Ben Allen and Ian Bradbury finished off great moves in blustery conditions for a 4-0 half-time lead.

There was no let-up in the second half, with Wheeler completing his hat-trick and Bradbury following suit with two quick goals.
Midfielder Ollie Maltby contributed with two great strikes along with winger Joe Townsend who is still ticking over his impressive goal tally.

Panton said: “It wasn’t a classic, the game was over by half-time.
“I was very pleased again with the discipline of the players to keep composed and cut out silly, individual errors. We can get away with it in these sort of games but if the lads are in the habit of good discipline then when we play the bigger teams we will be prepared for them.
“I thought all the lads’ contributions were fantastic and it was nice to receive our second team of the month award this season.”

Harrox: Kinealy, Groves, Patterson (Clay). Coddington, Ainsley, King, Watkin, Wheeler, Townsend, Bradbury (Maltby), Allen.
