A promising qualifying session failed to translate into race success for Abbi Pulling in the opening races of the Rokit British F4 series.
The 21-year-old Rodin Carlin driver sits ninth in the championship table with six points after the opening two races at Donington Park.
She qualified fifth for the opener but was seventh in Saturday’s race and said: “I was disappointed with the race result and made a few mistakes but we go again tomorrow.”
Unfortunately, a rain-hit race saw her finish 17th on Sunday in one of only two scheduled races that took place. The third round will now be run at a later date.
Next up for the Gosberton race ace is Brands Hatch for three races on May 11-12.
