Disability music festival returns

The fifth Going Forward Music Festival is taking place on Saturday.

It’s the fifth time the disabilities music festival has been put on by the Spalding-based Going Forward Social group and taking place this year at Southview Community Primary School, Crowland, from 11am to 7pm.
Among the acts on show are CrossFire, Blackout, Gwenllian Humphreys, Benji D and a Rat Pack tribute act.
Alyson Commons, of the Going Forward Social Group, said: “Our aims and objectives are to enrich the lives of people with disabilities and their families/carers in South Lincolnshire.
“The event is an opportunity for people with disabilities to come together and socialise in a welcoming and non judgemental environment. It has proved popular in the past and you can see photos from previous events on our Facebook page: Going Forward Music Festival 2023.
“This year as well as local bands and singers, we are pleased to have some sponsorship from Listers MINI in Boston, who are hosting a MINI Fun Zone with cars to sit in, games and goodie bags.
“Also attending will be RevoLOOtion, a specialist changing vehicle and the Linkage Sensory Bus. So there is plenty to do alongside enjoying all the great acts, food and charity stalls.”
For tickets email your requirements and details to [email protected]
Each disabled ticket is £12 and includes free entry for a carer. Additional tickets are £12 each. There’s a Going Forward Music Festival 2023 Facebook page too.
All money raised at the event goes towards hosting the festival the following year.
