Deputy will be the new CEO

The deputy chief executive of Lincolnshire County Council has been put forward as the preffered candidate for the top job.
Andrew Crookham has been selected by the council’s Appointments Committee to replace Debbie Barnes who will be retiring in March.
The final decision will be taken at a meeting of the full councils on Friday (November 21).
“Andrew has been a valued member of our Corporate Leadership Team since 2019 when he joined us as the executive director of resources, later also being appointed as deputy chief executive,” said Debbie, who retires after five years in the post.
The move is also backed by the leader of the council, Sean Matthews, who said: “Andrew’s appointment is testament to the hard work and leadership he has already demonstrated. Having been responsible for the council’s financial management, his knowledge will also be invaluable as we strive to proved the most efficient services,” he said.
