Dementia Café opens

The Crowland Dementia café got off to a successful start on Thursday, March 7 with more than 50 people in attendance.

The project is a collaboration between Spalding community health and well-being Charity Tonic Health, Abbeyview Surgery, Crowland and Crowland Cares.

Michael Morris, Chairman of Trustees of Tonic Health said: “We are delighted to bring the dementia café to Crowland and are over the moon that it has started so successfully with so many new faces in attendance.”

The café meets every Thursday at Snowden Pavilion at 10am-noon.

It is a drop in session with no need to book and is for anyone with dementia and their carers.
