Defeats for duo in premier

Both Crowland Town and Moulton Harrox tasted defeat in the GCE Hire Peterborough and District Premier Division.

Second placed Crowland were beaten 3-0 at Warboys Town while a Nathan Smith goal couldn’t stop Harrox losing 3-1 at Deeping Rangers Reserves.

In Division One, Crowland Town Reserves lost 5-1 at home to Yaxley Reserves, Aiden Stilton-Rowe with a late consolation for the hosts.

There were big wins for both South Lincolnshire Swifts and Tydd in Division Two.

The former beat Netherton United A 7-0 thanks to a first half Ed Barnes hat-trick, a Dawid Gos double off the bench and second half strikes from Kelvin Ibeneme and Connor Bell.

Tydd won 501 at home to Oakham United Reserves with Robert Hitcock at the double and strikes from Daniel Cassidy, Matthew Cousins and Kyle Davis.

In Division Three, goals from Tyler Hagan and Harry Munson earned Long Sutton Athletic Reserves a 2-2 draw at Uppingham Town Reserves.

* A 90th minute winner from Riley Tether put Whaplode Drove Rovers into the next round of the County Junior Cup as they beat Long Bennington 3-2.
It was his second goal of the game with Nathan Butt also netting in the second half.
