Deer rescued from roadside railings

Spalding Fire Crew had to rescue a deer from roadside railings this morning (Thursday, July 15).

The crew were called at 5.37am to reports of the animal having become stuck along London Road in Spalding.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, said: “Crew released one Muntjac deer from railings using bolt croppers.

“The deer ran off and was uninjured.”
