Death of 80-year-old in Crowland not being treated as suspicious

The death of an 80-year-old man in the centre of the Crowland is not being treated as suspicious.

Emergency services including the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance were in attendance at the incident reported around 3pm on Saturday, May 4 in the town’s West Street.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “We were called to West Street, Crowland just after 3pm on Saturday May 4.

“A man in his 80s was sadly confirmed deceased. His death is not being treated as suspicious.

“The matter has been passed to the coroner’s office.”
