Daughter inspires charity push

A Holbeach woman has raised over £1,000 for research into multiple sclerosis which her daughter is suffering from.
Hilary Noakes has spent many days in September on the town’s High Street with a raffle in aid of the MS Society.
She’s been raising funds for a few years now after her daughter Emma Connolley who lives in Morecambe in Lancashire was diagnosed with the neurological condition.
It came after years of the 40-year-old being misdiagnosed of fibromyalgia.
“I think she’s delighted I’m doing this,” said Hilary.
“I’m 76 and lucky I have good health so I wanted to do something that could aid the research into Emma’s condition.”
Hilary has teamed up with Boxes of Hope and anyone wanting to make a donation can do so through the community group.
