Damaged pipe leads to water problems in Moulton

A damaged pipe in Moulton has left some residents of a street without water today (Wednesday, January 10).

Anglian Water say another contractor has caused the damage and that properties in the area, including on Harrox Road are affected.

The water company says repair works are currently being carried out.

A spokesman for Anglian Water, said: “Another contractor working on Harrox Road in Moulton has damaged the water main and we are now working to repair that damage.

“We still have some customers experiencing a low pressure of water and we’re really sorry for that but we will complete the repair soon.

“Other water pressures in the area should be returning to normal. Unfortunately there’s just a few customers still with low pressure and we’re working to return that to normal.”
