Cyclists rack up the miles

Cyclists have been wheeling around South Holland raising funds for a veterans charity.

Karl Perryman and Mark Howard, who are veterans themselves, took on a sponsored bike ride for The Bridge for Heroes.

The Kings Lynn-based charity has been supporting serving and veteran armed forces personnel for the last 10 years.

The pair, supported by the SouthEast Hand-Cycle raised £667.10 by cycling for 100 miles.

Karl, an RAF Veteran of 24 years, rode an up-right bike and Mark, a veteran of the Household Cavalry, rode a three-wheel recumbent hand-cycle.
They were joined along the way by other cyclists and presented with a The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund 100 miles for 100 years Challenge medal, by Mike Taylor, the CEO of The Bridge for Heroes.
