Crowland Town narrow gap to Uppingham

Crowland Town took full advantage of GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League leaders Uppingham Town slipping up at Holbeach United Reserves.

While Joe Millinson’s goal earned the Premier Division’s bottom team a surprise point against Uppingham, Crowland were slamming five goals past Oakham United to close the gap at the top to 10 points but with six games in hand.
Archie Rickards 2, Harry Grigas, Jordan Kirchin and Harry Tidswell scored in the 5-1 win.
Moulton Harrox’s match against Stanground was abandoned just before half-time due to a serious injury to one of the home players.

Warren Hebblethwaite grabbed two goals as South Holland United moved to within a point of GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough Sunday League Division Two leaders Stanground Cardea Sports Development XI.
Chesney Isaacs has opened the scoring for the visitors in the ninth minute.
