Crowland set standard at awards

Crowland Juniors have been named the Lincolnshire FA Chartered Standard Club of the Year.

Chairman Danny Jackson, who has been involved at Crowland for more than 45 years, hailed the achievement as one of his proudest moments in football.

He felt it was deserved recognition for the sponsors, players, supporters as well as past and present committee members who give up their time voluntarily every week for the youngsters of Crowland.

The club would also like to thank the Peterborough Junior Alliance for their nomination for the award.

Crowland currently run teams at Under 6s, 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s, 12s, 13s, 14s and 15s age groups.
