A drought damaged road is currently closed in Crowland for works.
Hulls Drove between the A16 and Martins Drove is closed today (Wednesday, December 19) and is due to re-open on Friday.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire County Council’s Highways team, said: “The long, hot summer has had an impact on the road and it’s starting to show the signs of drought damage.
“We’re going in to make sure it remains safe for motorists until we’re in a position to arrange more long-term repairs.
“There will be short-term inconvenience while the works are carried out, for which we apologise, and we’d advise drivers to allow additional time for journeys and use alternative routes where possible.”
