Crowfoot at double

Spalding Seconds went down 26-15 at home to Southwell Seconds in their opening NLD League match, with the more experienced visitors using their forward strength to good effect to score four tries, converting three of them.
The home team had the better backs, well directed by the experienced Steven Kippax, and two of their tries came from centre Ronnie Crowfoot with scrum half Rob Lucas adding the third from Ben Bettinson’s pass.
The Seconds are at home to Leesbrook on Saturday, with the Third XV at Stamford.
