Crowds visit car show

The second Holbeach Classic and Modified Car Show proved so popular that plans are already being worked on for next year.

More than 200 cars and motorcycles travelled from around the county and further afield to take part.

Organised by the parish council, member Isobel Hutchinson said they estimated that around 2,000 people had visited.

“We are already planning next year’s show and hope to make it even bigger as clearly this is a very popular event,” said Isobel. “We would like to thank Holbeach Primary Academy for the use of their grounds and help in making the show a success, and also all the businesses that supported the show and we look forward to working with them all again,” she added.

Royals Gym also held a strongman competition during the day and there was live music and refreshments.
