Creative night a huge draw

There was nothing sketchy about the first Drink and Draw event last Thursday at Gin Bar in Spalding.

Organised by Weston comic shop Strange Apparitions and Spalding Picture Framing, the event brought together the region’s creatives for a night of drawing, which included a beer mat decorating competition, won by Jason Martindale.

Strange Apparitions owner Alexander Hunt said: “It was so nice to be able to hang out with you all and create some art, the room was packed out and I think we were at maximum capacity!

“It’s honestly so great to get such a wonderful turnout.”
