Crane to block part of road in Long Sutton

One lane of a road is to be closed for around a week as work is carried out on a Long Sutton factory.

A large crane is to be outside Princes Limited on Bridge Road until Wednesday, May 6.

The crane is so large part of it will have to be on the road.

It will take up one lane of the road and is being used as part of the £80m, two year redevelopment of the food production factory.

Rob James, factory general manager for Princes Long Sutton, said: “We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause to local residents and our neighbours, who have been fully kept up to date with details and progress throughout this project.

“These temporary road measures are a necessary part of the our planned £80m investment at Long Sutton, which will deliver increased production and long-term, high quality employment opportunities in the area.”
